Prepare the Cinnamon Swirl: In a small bowl, mix together the 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of cinnamon, and 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Stir until the mixture becomes a smooth, thick paste. Set this aside for later use.

    Make the Batter: In a large mixing bowl, add 1 cup of flour, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Whisk these dry ingredients together until well combined. In another bowl, whisk together 1 cup of milk, 1 large egg, 2 tablespoons of melted butter, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth. Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Gently stir until just mixed—it's okay if the batter is slightly lumpy.

            Prepare the Cream Cheese Glaze: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, 1 cup of powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons of milk, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Whisk the mixture until it reaches a smooth and creamy consistency.
